Travel Necessities

When my parents and I made a concrete decision for me to study abroad in Italy for the summer, my thoughts were limbo-ing between where to go and what to pack..... what to pack won out. Since Christmas I have slowly been building my "travel necessities" list and here are a few things that are at the top:

1) Titan X2 Flash Luggage in the most precious color of pale pink. I like to call these my "investment pieces." In life there are things you can save on and other things you can spend on. Good luggage is worth spending on because it can make or break your travel experience.
2) Saltbox Travel Wallet. The Airline Agents will know I mean business when they see me whip out this baby. Another perk? This bright color won't get lost in the depths of my big carry-on-black-hole purse.

3) Longhcamp backpack -- the modern day fanny-pack as I like to call it. Throw it over your back and you've got a hands-free day trip right in front of you. Another perk? It's lightweight and if anything happens to get on it and blemish it's appearance, just wash it with a little dish soap and you're good to go.

4) Love Quotes scarf in Solar. Ahhhhh the perfect scarf. I didn't know if I'd ever find it. Its the perfect weight to keep you comfortable during your flight, and the perfect size to not look like you've got a blanket around your neck when you get off the plane. I believe its my #1 in-flight travel accessory. (That, next to Tylenol PM on a Trans-Atlantic flight).

5) Lastly, Rick Steeve's Italy Travel Guidebook. Because after you're all dressed and ready to sight see... you must know where to go! Rick Steeves has got you covered in Italy with this book. Bonus? He's got Podcasts that can do wonders for your travel experience as well!

Two Days Until Departure and Counting... Let the madness of packing begin.
