Last Night Lists
From my comfy couch in my cozy home, I sit here tonight thinking of where I will be in 24 hours... What will my room look like? What will I be eating? Where in the heck will I be? As those (and many more) unanswered questions flood my mind, I also think about what I will be leaving here in Huntsville/Auburn this summer. So, I thought it may be fun to compile a few lists to share with you before I leave:
What I Will Miss The Most
1. Being with my family and friends
2. Having no language barrier (most of the time...)
3. Knowing where I am going every day and how to get places
4. Diet Coke, Diet Coke, DIET COKE
5. Late afternoon naps while watching Friends
What I Will Miss The Least
1. Filling up my car with gas
2. Being a slave to my cell phone and email (and basically all technology)
3. Daunting school work
4. Alabama humidity
What I Am Looking Most Forward To
1. Exploring Italy (DUH!)
2. Gelato, Italian coffee, wine and basically all the food....
3. Seeing the Eiffel Tower in Paris and the Switching of the Guards in London
4. Learning (some) of the Italian language
5. Riding the train to get from place to place
So as you know, my next post will be from Italia!! I'm off to get my rest and prepare for my flight tomorrow because I will probably not get an ounce of shut-eye on that 10 hour plane ride. Bring on the Tylenol PM. Goodness, help me... I hope I get a window seat (fingers crossed). Ciao for now!

My sweet girl, as you were posting your thoughts on leaving, I was downstairs dwelling on the experiences you'll have, the opportunities to see and do and explore things I've never seen or done, and praying that this summer brings you lots of wonderful memories. I'll hold you in my prayers and lift you up to God's watchful eye for the next three months, he won't let us down. When in doubt, look up:)
Wow I can only express excitement for you on this journey, no chapter! A time of living life to the fullest, not sure what will come next, and lets hope for very fine Italian fellas to look at, and last but not least a fine vintage paired with fab food! I will be selfishly waiting on blog updates to live vicariously through your adventures. And girl a day will not go by that I will not be praying for you while so far from our little southern part of earth! Love, hugs, and kisses from Savannah
SK, don't overlook in all your excitement, Zoe's first recital in Wednesday...glittler on sweet Zoe...
